YUNSÉ's FW21 Collection Is a Balance of "Tension and Relaxation"
The rising Korean label applies its signature floral prints to cozy garments.
An emerging name in the Korean fashion scene, YUNSÉ has unveiled its Fall/Winter 2021 lineup. Titled “Tension and Relaxation,” the range celebrates the beauty of difference and contrast.
For those unfamiliar, YUNSÉ is a London and Seoul-based label helmed by sisters Sejung and Seyoung Yoon. Since its inception in 2018, it has quickly grown into a cult favorite for its signature floral prints and clean silhouettes loved by style gurus like Suesasha and LIM KIM.
For FW21, the Yoons took inspiration from modern dancer Martha Graham, translating her philosophy into simple yet elegant looks reminiscent of artist Isabel Reitemeyer‘s collages. YUNSÉ’s floral pattern is reborn on dresses and puffer jackets, contrasting the all-black velvet jacquard sets and pleated slip dresses. Further standouts include metallic silver pants arriving in a loose fit.
