Here's When 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' Will Be Available to Watch on Disney+

The ‘Black Panther’ sequel is currently playing in theaters.

The highly anticipated Black Panther sequel, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, has finally hit theaters everywhere. Naturally, many fans are wondering when the film will be available to stream on Disney+.

To learn more about the movie and when you will be able to it watch on Disney+, keep scrolling.

What is Black Panther: Wakanda Forever about?

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever picks up after Black Panther (2018). One notable thing about the film is that it mourns T’Challa’s death after Chadwick Boseman, who portrayed him, died of colon cancer in 2020. Therefore, the sequel pays tribute to the actor. Director Ryan Coogler spoke on Marvel‘s decision to not recast Boseman. “I had to find a way that I felt like I could keep going and a way that our Black Panther family could keep going,” he previously told Entertainment Weekly. “I started to come up with a film that had elements of the film that we had just finished writing, but also applied the themes that the people who were hurting just as much as me could actually perform and execute and come out on the other side whole.”

Will Black Panther: Wakanda Forever stream on Disney+?

Yes, but not right away. Unfortunately, for now, if you want to watch the Marvel movie, you will just have to visit your local theater.

When will the movie stream on Disney+?

Based on past releases, it’s quite possible Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be on Disney+’s roster in late December. Usually, it takes about 45 to 60 days from when a film premieres in theaters to appear on the streaming platform.

In the meantime, consider watching Black Panther, which is available on Disney+, to refresh your memory.
