Levi's x UNDERCOVER Drop Defiant Fall 2022 Collection
“We Make Noise Not Clothes.”
Levi’s has teamed up with Japanese streetwear brand UNDERCOVER for a positively bold and edgy Fall 2022 collection filled with rebellious silhouettes outfitted in experimental fabrics.
The collaboration features six items of apparel, which were made in Los Angeles, are created from Levi’s iconic denim MADE in USA as well as pieces from UNDERCOVER. Truly marrying each brand together, the collection is truly a joint effort as it seamlessly blends both Japanese and American materials.
Included in the streetwear range is a Hybrid Tucker Down Jacket, presenting a re-imagination of a vintage Levi’s trucker and boasts a built-in down vest back panel as well as a cozy cable-knit bottom panel that arrives with contrasting ripstop cargo pockets on the exterior. The collection’s most exciting piece is an audacious black puffer jacket with the Japanese brand’s confident slogan, “We Make Noise Not Clothes.”
Completing the utilitarian-inspired collection is the Hybrid Denim Sweat Pant, which is comprised of a vintage Levi’s® jean on the facade, but is made anew with French Terry fabric and cotton ripstop cargo pockets on the back. Maintaining strong branding, the denim featured on the front bears a distressed version of UNDERCOVER’s phrase “REBELGODS.” The French terry fabric on the back alludes to a past life as crew neck sweatshirt detailing is visible. The UNDERCOVER logo and a Levi;s® Red Tab rests on the back pocket. The innovative pants appear in a worn-in indigo wash with navy French Terry detailing on the back, as well as a worn-in black wash with black French Terry detailing on the back.
