Netflix Unveils Official Trailer for Ali Wong's Third Comedy Special
Premiering on Valentine’s Day.
UPDATE (February 11, 2022): Netflix has dropped the official trailer for Don Wong. The special follows the comedian’s previous shows such as Ali Wong: Baby Cobra and Ali Wong: Hard Knock Wife.
The visual begins with Wong opening the door to her dressing room and introducing us to her friend and show opener, Sheng Wang. She proceeds to talk about the outfit she picked for the day — featuring a large interlocking gold chain necklace and a customized pair of Crocs — stating: “Justin, my husband, always begs me before we leave the house to please dress more subtle, and I guess this isn’t so subtle.” The video also highlights fans expressing their love for the Always Be My Maybe star as she prepares for her show in her dressing room.

ORIGINAL STORY (February 1, 2022): Ali Wong is returning with her third original Netflix comedy special, Don Wong.
In Don Wong, the Always Be My Maybe star will cover the challenges of monogamy, how she feels about single people as well as her wildest fantasies.
While the forthcoming special was filmed in November 2021 at The Count Basie Theater in New Jersey, Wong has many other projects she’s focusing on. The comedian is also starring in Beef, a Netflix comedy-drama series. In addition, her voice is featured on Netflix’s Ask the StoryBots, Ada Twist, Scientist, and adult animated comedy Big Mouth.
