BLACKPINK's Rosé Covers Coldplay's "Viva la Vida"
Treating BLINKS to something special on her 25th birthday.
UPDATE (February 10, 2022): Celebrating her 25th birthday, BLACKPINK‘s Rosé has just released a cover of Coldplay‘s classic song “Viva la Vida” on her YouTube channel. Earlier on Instagram, the K-pop singer teased something special for her fans, and it looks like her acoustic rendition of the British band’s famous single is the answer.
Last spring, Rosé released her debut solo project R, so the cover could be the prelude to her second album. Fingers crossed.

ORIGINAL STORY (February 10, 2022): Turning 25 tomorrow, BLACKPINK‘s Rosé has hinted at a special birthday surprise for her fans. The K-pop star posted a moody picture on Instagram of her singing into a microphone, captioning the post, “25 (again). A little something for you in a bit.” BLINKS can only imagine that Rosé is dropping a new solo single.
The singer released her solo project, R last spring, so a second album could well be on the way. The artist also dropped merch alongside her debut album, so fans could have the chance to grab swag as well.
