Livestream: Matthieu Blazy Debuts Bottega Veneta Winter 2022 Show
Presenting his inaugural collection for the Italian luxury brand.
Bottega Veneta green, or “Parakeet” green as it is formally known, is one of the Italian brand’s defining trademarks, so it is only natural that newly appointed creative director Matthieu Blazy embrace the vibrant shade for his debut collection.
Creating a pathway for creative and new encounters, Bottega Veneta has unveiled its foray into the metaverse with an augmented reality app that transforms the fashion house’s signature shade into a “green screen,” allowing users to experience the many different sides of the luxury brand. Bringing to light the visceral and emotional aspects of our everyday surroundings, the platform utilizes photography, film and music to reveal the background to the Bottega Veneta brand.
The newest Bottega Veneta user experience will feature regularly updated content and functionalities, namely the presentation of live fashion shows with Blazy’s inaugural collection being the first.
