Britney Spears "Will Hold Nothing Back" in Her Upcoming Memoir

Which will detail her career, her life and her family.

UPDATE (March 3, 2022): Last month, Britney Spears officially landed her first book deal with publishing house Simon & Schuster worth $15 million USD.

According to Us Weekly‘s source, the artist “will hold nothing back in the memoir.” In addition to writing about her life and career, Spears will also be touching upon her relationship with her younger sister, Jamie Lynn Spears. “Britney feels extremely betrayed by Jamie Lynn, as she has expressed publicly,” the insider adds. “She will lay out that without her, Jamie Lynn would have no career.”

As of writing, the memoir has yet to receive an official title and release date.

ORIGINAL STORY (February 21, 2022): Britney Spears is set to add “writer” to her resume with her upcoming tell-all book.

First reported by Page Sixthe artist has signed a $15 million USD deal with publishing house Simon & Schuster for her memoir about her career, her life and her family. Simon & Schuster was one out of many publishers who bid over Spears’ book. According to a source, “the deal is one of the biggest of all time, behind the Obamas.” The rights for Barack and Michelle Obama’s books reportedly sold for over $60 million USD in 2017.

The new book will give Spears the chance to finally share her side of the story in detail after the claims her sister Jamie Lynn Spears made in her recent memoir, Things I Should Have Said. Back in January, when the book released, the “Gimme More” songstress issued a cease and desist letter to her younger sister.

Details about Spears’ memoir have yet to be disclosed. Stay tuned while we wait for more information.
