Tae Park's New Collection Is a Love Letter to the Early 2000s
The Brooklyn-based label unveils a nostalgia-inspired drop.
Tae Park. the nonseasonal Brooklyn womenswear label loved for its romantic and versatile designs, returns with its fifth collection on Valentine’s Day.
Titled “Tweenager,” the nostalgia-fueled Drop V takes inspiration from brand founder Taehee Park’s pre-teen dream closet and her personal style memories from the early aughts, referencing pop culture and fashion influences in the Y2K.
Ideal for V-Day and beyond, the new Mini String Dress — coming in timeless black, ivory and “Wine” red — is a babydoll slip made with luxurious silk. The feminine silhouette is designed with a deep, scooped U neckline and a double bow detail at the back. The drop also offers Park’s take on 2000s tomboy style, with the vintage-inspired Toy Sweater and the subtly baggy, workwear-esque Painter Pants arriving in a color scheme that pays homage to the founder’s Korean heritage. The Chiffon Wrap Top, a back-baring halter silhouette with hand maneuvered ruching detail at the front, completes this mini collection.
Priced between $465 and $740 USD, all pieces are available in limited quantities and can be pre-ordered on the Tae Park website.
