Coi Leray Opens up About Her Sexual Identity
The rapper shared her story on an Instagram live this week.
Coi Leray, the rapper behind viral TikTok sounds like “Twinnem“, recently went live with Nicki Minaj to promote their new single “Blick Blick.” It seems like Minaj has become a mentor of sorts for Leray as they went on to discuss everything from industry troubles to sexuality.
Leray is known for twerking through the pressure and donning more masculine looks while people constantly question her sexuality. In the past, Leray dated male rapper Trippie Redd and the relationship did not end well with a toxic track on Redd’s album dedicated to his heartbreak. More recently, fans have been speculating a split between her and rapper Pressa who have been together since 2021. Despite the chaotic, public love stories, Leray has not shied away from speaking her truth when it comes to her experiences.
When Minaj asked Leray “Are you a lesbian?”, Leray opened up and shared: “I like d-ck… I ate p-ssy before, though. It just wasn’t for me. After I was in it, that’s when I realized… ’Listen, this is not for me. This is not my type of thing.’”
She went on to say that when it comes to men, she appreciates the aggressive nature they can tap into, and she doesn’t feel that when she connects with women.
As for her current relationship status, the rapper kept her lips tight but one thing’s for certain, masculine energy is the wave she currently prefers.
