'And Just Like That...' Is Returning With Season 2

Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis will be reprising their characters.

The Sex and the City reboot And Just Like That… has been renewed for Season 2 at HBO Max. The show’s lead actors Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis will be reprising their respective roles as Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbs and Charlotte York Goldenblatt.

Executive producer Michael Patrick King announced: “I am delighted and excited to tell more stories about these vibrant, bold characters — played by these powerful, amazing actors. The fact is, we’re all thrilled. And Just like That… our Sex life is back.” Sarah Aubrey, the Head of Original Content at HBO Max, added: “We’ve been delighted by the cultural conversation generated by these characters and their stories, set in a world we already know and love so much… We can’t wait for fans to see what’s in store for Season 2!”

The first season of the reboot featured 10 episodes, telling the stories of Carrie Bradshaw and her friends as they navigate their 50s following the death of Mr. Big, the love of Carrie’s life. The series opened with a bang, shocking fans with his death that eventually led to a viral parody ad by Peloton. The campaign was pulled shortly after following Chris Noth’s sexual allegations.

Stay tuned as we learn more about the second season of And Just Like That… .
