Dua Lipa and Megan Thee Stallion Give a Taste of Their "Sweetest Pie" in New Visual
Inspired by the Houston rapper’s love for fantasy and horror.
Dua Lipa and Megan Thee Stallion have teamed up on a powerful new single titled “Sweetest Pie.” The duo also released a fantasy-inspired music video posing as badass witches.
Wanting to explore new sounds, Stallion took a chance to experiment with this track, delivering her signature bars over Lipa’s pristine vocals. “This year with my collabs, I want it to be very organic to me, very organic to whoever I’m collaborating with. And I want us to both really thrive on it and really shine,” the rapper told Zane Lowe of Apple Music 1. “I feel like everybody knows, I like fantasy and I like horror at the same time. So when they see [the music video], I feel like it’s going to be like, ‘Wow, they really in their bag with this one,’” she added.
“Baby, I’m the sweetest, p*ssy is the meanest/Hot girl sh*t, but I’m cold every season/Know he got that pipe, let him bust it till it’s leaking,” Stallions raps in the first verse, followed by Lipa’s chorus: “Oh, it’s the ride of your life/Hold on ’cause I might just give you a bite/Of the sweetest pie.”
