Harry Styles' Performance in the Forthcoming Film 'My Policeman' Is Already Getting Rave Reviews
The leading man portrays a gay cop.
Harry Styles is starring in My Policeman, which isn’t even out yet, and fans already can’t get enough.
During an advanced test screening that took place in San Diego on Monday, audiences raved about the film and Styles’ overall performance. The acting and movie, which focuses on a clandestine queer romance between a cop named Tom (Styles) and a museum curator (David Dawson), was described as “amazing” and “gorgeous.”
The reason behind test audience screenings is for the target demographic to watch and form an opinion used to help the film succeed. Based on their reactions, any last-minute tweaks can be made as this usually happens when the movie is in its final stages of post-production.
So far, the musician has only appeared in two other films — Dunkirk and the post-credits scene of Eternals — both of which showcased his talent as an actor. In addition to My Policeman, Styles is starring in Olivia Wilde‘s upcoming psychological thriller, Don’t Worry Darling, co-starring alongside Florence Pugh.
There is yet to be a release date for My Policeman. Stay tuned for any updates on Harry Styles and the highly anticipated film.
