2022 Met Gala: Here Are the Best Dressed Celebrities
Corsets and dramatic trains took over the red carpet.
The 2022 Met Gala “In America: An Anthology of Fashion” took place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on May 2. Stars from all industries attended the annual event in their best fits, following the dressing theme of “Gilded Glamor.”
Standout looks include Gigi Hadid‘s stunning red Versace number comprised of a latex catsuit, leather corset and oversized coat. Meanwhile, Blake Lively made a grand entrance on the red carpet in a Versace Atelier gown with a reversible train — the first look arrived in a copper colorway, which was then transformed into the second iteration featuring an aqua blue version with gold elements. Cardi B was a vision in gold in her figure-hugging dress made of chains and beading by none other than Donatella Versace.
Elsewhere, Vanessa Hudgens opted for a daring Moschino sheer ensemble boasting an embroidered top, puff sleeves, a high neckline and lengthy train. Billie Eilish also donned the corset trend in a pastel green- and champagne-toned dress by Gucci.
