Since 2000, Nike has spotlighted Puerto Rico with exclusive models and this year is no different. Two AF1 silhouettes join two NSW polo shirts in paying homage to PR. The mini capsule features multicolor elements inspired by the city of San Juan with additional design elements informed by dominos, a pastime that spans across New York and Puerto Rican communities.
Nike celebrates Pride Month with three sneakers and coordinating apparel. The footwear offering includes a Cortez, Dunk Low and Oneonta sandal, while the clothing collection includes tie-dye hoodies and shorts.
With designs inspired by indigenous people, the N7 collection returns for Summer 2022 with a Nike Free Trail Moc, Air Max 95 and Nike Kyrie 5 Low. The footwear, along with a selection of apparel, features natural dyes and woven details that call out to traditional weaving techniques.
Look out for the Puerto Rican capsule on June 4. The Nike Be True Oneonta, SB Dunk Low and apparel release June 22 and the N7 collection drops June 21. Stay tuned for release info on the Nike Cortez “Be True” which will drop at a later date.
