Kiko Kostadinov Debuts Limited Run of the Trivia Bag
Exclusively at Dover Street Market.
To celebrate the launch of the brand’s Fall/Winter 2022 collections, Kiko Kostadinov is showcasing a limited run of its signature Trivia bag. Previously released in sleek, matte leather, the reworked edition boasts a glossy fuschia colorway that accentuates the bag’s curved design.
Complementing the limited-edition product is a special in-store installation on the ground floor of Dover Street Market London, following the location’s seasonal changeover. A partnership between creative union Soft Baroque and the brand’s womenswear creative directors Laura and Deanna Fanning, the installation aims to extend the narrative of the product’s design.
The bags appear in a scene that “juxtaposes post-apocalyptic ad-hocism and shiny luxury decor,” according to the press release. Describing the forms themselves, Soft Baroque explains them as “disembodied objects from vehicles” that present “a marriage between aerodynamics, optics and aesthetics.”
Extending the in-store experience is a display of science fiction works, curated by the Fannings and including a number of Nebula award-winning authors. The works complement Kostadinov’s FW22 jewelry offering to promote an unlikely exchange of ideas.
The new Kiko Kostadinov installation is available to visit at Dover Street Market London, with items from the collection landing at the brand’s online store in the coming weeks.
