Martine Rose is no stranger to reinventing Nike silhouettes. In 2019 the brand redesigned the Air Monarch IV, adding a crumpled construction based on a sample where a size 18 shoe was squished into a size 9 mold.

Released with a campaign honoring women’s impact on soccer, the Martine Rose x Nike Shox MR4 reimagines the Y2k release as a sneaker-mule with a tapered square toe.
