AURALEE Debuts Another New Balance Collab on the Runway

This time, reimagining the 1906R silhouette for Fall/Winter 2023.

AURALEE’s Fall/Winter 2023 collection was all about coziness, from the fire ‘fits right down to the footwear.

“The feel of hazily stepping out from a slumber and the sheltered snugness of home into the outside world protected and wrapped in comforting, enveloping layers of softness. A quiet sense of ease and well-being” reads the brand’s press release.

Aside from its warm socks and comfy clogs, the Japanese brand debuted its latest collaboration on the feet of its runway, once again continuing its fruitful partnership with New Balance. After its multiple iterations of the XC-72 and 2002R, AURALEE has this time, turned its hand to the sneaker brand’s classic 1906R running silhouette, reimagining it with two tonal colorways.

First up is the dusky blue, comprising a darker blue base complete with lighter, almost lilac accents alongside the shoe’s upper and midsole. Next is the creamy off-white colorway, comprised of a monochrome hue paired with accents of light green and beige.

Take a look at the new colorways above, set to make their official debut later this year.
