AURALEE and New Balance Return With Two New Seasonal XC-72 Colorways

Arriving in “White” and “Camel.”

The winter season heralds the return of a new AURALEE and New Balance XC-72 collaboration, which we first saw on the Japanese label’s Fall/Winter 2022 runway show earlier this year. The release also continues the creative duo’s previous releases of the popular 2002R and 550 silhouettes.

Arriving in shades “White” and “Camel,” the new seasonal XC-72 sneakers see a sophisticated and minimal construction. Inspired by past New Balance archive models, the shoes are equipped with asymmetrical traction outsoles, made of recycled rubber, and an oversized ‘N” logo — a clever and distinctive feature that delivers a quiet statement. Elsewhere, the XC-72 uppers have been revamped with suede, nubuck and smooth leather for an old-school touch.

Priced at ¥19,800, approximately $144 USD, the new AURALEE x New Balance XC-72 seasonal colorways are now available to purchase exclusively in Japan via AURALEE, New Balance and select partners.
