Rising Musician CAMO Drops "Mapsi" off Debut Album, 'Pressure Makes Diamonds'
Accompanied by a fiery music video.
CAMO, an up-and-coming musician hailing from South Korea, is back with “Mapsi,” the first single off of her upcoming debut album titled Pressure Makes Diamonds.
The Seoul-based creative is one of the most exciting names in the K-hip hop scene, marking a breakthrough moment with her hit “Life Is Wet” released in 2020. Throughout the past few years, the musician has teamed up with industry veterans like Simon Dominic on “Wifey” as she continues to expand globally with tours in Paris and London.
CAMO’s latest release “Mapsi” — which is a Korean word translating to “being stylish” or “the way something looks on someone” — arrives alongside a powerful music video with production by 808 Mafia’s MP808, marking the producer’s first Korean hip-hop track. The single will be joining her debut album Pressure Makes Diamonds, which will feature a total of 13 tracks blending hip-hop and R&B sounds.
