Meryl Streep Is Joining Season 3 of 'Only Murders in the Building'
Which has already begun filming.
Season 3 of Only Murders in the Building is getting a new co-star: Meryl Streep.
Steve Martin, who portrays Charles Haden-Savage, took to Twitter to share a group photo with Streep, Selena Gomez, Martin Short and Paul Rudd, who is also joining the cast this upcoming season. “The filming of Season 3 of Only Murders in the Building has begun! A cast to dream of,” he tweeted alongside the photo.
The official Twitter account for the Hulu series replied, “It is an HONOR to have Meryl in our building!”
Gomez also expressed her excitement over having Streep join the show. She shared a video of the cast on Instagram, showing off her costars Short and Martin on camera. “Hey guys, we’re on set! What are we shooting? Season 3! The gang is back! “Yay! Could this honestly get any better? Oh wait!”
The camera then pans over to Rudd, who says, “Well, I do think it could get a little bit better.” From there, Streep pops up over Gomez’s shoulder.
Additionally, Gomez further expressed her excitement with her post’s caption. “I could cry,” she wrote. “Season 3 is coming!”
