The Met Gala 2023 Co-Chairs and Dress Code Have Officially Been Announced

The Met Gala finally unveiled its upcoming co-chairs and dress code.
Dua Lipa, Michaela Coel, Penélope Cruz and Roger Federer are expected to join Anna Wintour at the 2023 Met Gala, which takes place every year on the first Monday of May. This year, it falls on May 1.
Lipa took to social media to announce the news. “Excited to announce that I am one of the #MetGala 2023 Co-Chairs alongside Michaela Coel, Penélope Cruz, Roger Federer and Anna Wintour. See you for the First Monday in May #CostumeInstitute Benefit, she wrote on Instagram.
She continued, “The 2023 Met Gala celebrates the opening of ‘Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty’ and provides The Costume Institute with its primary source of annual funding for exhibitions, publications, acquisitions, operations and capital improvements. #ALineOfBeauty opens to the public on May 5 @metmuseum.”
To support the theme, the dress code for the prestigious event this year is “in honor of Karl Lagerfeld.”
