Miaou's Latest Capsule Explores Femininity in the Workplace

The Miaou girl means business.

Cult-loved corset brand Miaou just launched an exclusive new capsule collection, exploring the concept of femininity in the workplace.

Comprised of 11 ready-to-wear pieces, the collection seeks to reimagine classic Miaou silhouettes alongside introducing new and unreleased designs for Spring/Summer 2023. Fusing traditional patterns like stripes and gingham with contemporary silhouettes like low-rise skirts, corsets and hot pants, the collection juxtaposes the idea of “smart” dressing with feminine modernity.

“As an entrepreneur, the exploration of femininity in the workplace was an important theme in creating these pieces that are intended to make women feel comfortable in their bodies. The Miaou girl is confident and a multi-hyphenate,” says Miaou’s founder Alexia Elkaim.

The new collection comes shortly after Miaou launched its second archive drop, comprising vintage designs with collectible pieces and fan favorite silhouettes including the yellow plaid Tommy print pants, the Leia corset and Miaou’s first-ever bodice design.
