Meet Loewe's It-Bag for SS23: the Paseo
A fluid yet structural design.
As we gear up for the spring season, brands are rolling out their newest handbags, the latest being Loewe with a new design dubbed the Paseo.
Created under Jonathan Anderson‘s direction, the Paseo made its debut on the Spanish brand’s Spring/Summer 2023 runway, donning a fluid yet structural look. Offered in a wide range of colors with tubular leather handles or metal chain shoulder straps, the silhouette is an elongated bucket-like shape with pleats appearing on each side. Loewe’s logo is subtly stamped beneath the opening while the bag can be carried by the hand or worn on the shoulder. Crafted with calfskin on the exterior, the Paseo is complete with suede lining while the house’s signature coil Flamenco knots round out the design.
In the SS23 campaign starring Taylor Russell, the Paseo is spotted in “Dark Butter,” “Burgundy,” “Light Mauve,” “Emerald” and “Khaki Green” with the recognizable anthurium flower adorning the accessory. The bag is also offered in XL sizing to house all of your daily essentials.
Take a closer look at the Paseo above. You can head over to Loewe’s website or physical stores to shop the handbag priced from $2,900 USD for the small version, to $3,950 USD for the XL nappa calfskin iteration.
