“Andiamo!”

UPDATE (March 30, 2023): It’s official: BTS member RM has joined the Bottega Veneta family, as confirmed by the house’s creative director Matthieu Blazy.

Rumors of the K-pop artist (real name Kim Nam-joon) signing with the Italian label surfaced after he sat front row at Blazy’s Fall/Winter 2023 show at Milan Fashion Week last month. “Andiamo! Welcome to the family @rkive,” the designer wrote on Instagram, sharing RM’s first campaign visual with Bottega Veneta. In the photo, the star 28-year-old is seen wearing a check shirt with jeans, pairing his casual fit with the brand’s new Andiamo bag.

ORIGINAL STORY (February 27, 2023): The seven members of BTS have not only been pursuing solo music careers, but they’re also signing brand partnership deals individually, ever since their deal with Louis Vuitton expired.

Jimin kicked off by being appointed as the global brand ambassador of Dior, shortly followed by Suga for Valentino the next day. While it’s yet to be officially confirmed, it’s understood that V has a deal in the works with CELINE while J-Hope was the latest member to be named global brand ambassador of Louis Vuitton.

With Jin being in the army, this only leaves Jungkook and RM who have yet to be picked up by a luxury brand. However, it seems like RM could potentially be in talks with Bottega Veneta on a partnership deal as the K-pop star was recently spotted at Matthieu Blazy’s latest show during Milan Fashion Week.

While nothing is officially confirmed as of writing, RM has previously worn Bottega Veneta at public events such as the 2020 Grammys. Ever since his appearance in Milan, ARMYs have been flooding Twitter with the hashtag #RMxBottegaVeneta, sharing how well the South Korean artist fits the brand.

Stay tuned as we learn more about RM’s potential deal with Bottega Veneta.
