Miley Cyrus Previews Special Performance of "The Climb" in Honor of the Song's Anniversary
Premiering in her upcoming Backyard Sessions.
Miley Cyrus dropped her hit “The Climb” back in March 2009. In honor of the track’s anniversary, the singer teased a special performance of the song, which will be featured in her upcoming Backyard Sessions for her album, Endless Summer Vacation.
“She wrote on Instagram, “It’s been 14 years since ‘The Climb’ was released. In celebration, watch my backyard sessions performance of this special song streaming only on @disneyplus March 10th at 1pm ET/10am #EndlessSummerVacation.”
Cyrus will perform songs from her new album, including “Flowers,” her latest hit. In February, the Disney Channel alum raved about the success of the track. “Happy one month anniversary of ‘Flowers!’” she tweeted at the time. “To still be celebrating #1 on the Hot 100 & around the world is phenomenal. With Valentines Day coming up tomorrow this song feels even more meaningful to me. I hope this holiday is filled with the joy of honoring LOVE in all of its forms.”
Stay tuned for Endless Summer Vacation as well as her Backyard Sessions, which both release on March 10. For more, check out the preview of “The Climb” below.
