Diesel Takes Us to Pleasure Island for Its SS23 Campaign

“All desires, kinks and indulgences are welcome, whilst all judgmental attitudes are not.”

Diesel‘s kinky Spring/Summer 2023 campaign echoes the hedonistic, sex-positive nature of its SS23 runway show — yes, the one that featured a record-breaking inflatable.

Dubbed “Pleasure Island,” the campaign seeks to create a playground for our every desire, centering around the concept of adult entertainment. As Creative Director, Glenn Martens puts it, “all desires, kinks and indulgences are welcome, whilst all judgmental attitudes are not.”

Populated by “pleasure-seeking, Diesel-clad patrons,” the so-called amusement park offers a look inside Diesel’s free-spirited community, one which transcends gender, race, age and body type. Lensed by photographer Johnny Dufort, the campaign highlights standout products like the Oval D top and the Super Logo menswear selection, punctuated by Diesel’s signature faded denim, corsets, peel-off camouflage and cargo pants.

Elsewhere, SS23 spotlights the brand’s sexy underwear collection, comprising ’90s-inspired bras and briefs, alongside experimental jewelry. Continuing its partnership with EssilorLuxottica, the campaign sees Diesel’s sleek eyewear collection debuting five new silhouettes, including wraparound frames and aviators, complete with metallic temples resulting in a ‘D’ shape.
