Take an Early Look at Wales Bonner x adidas' FW23 Footwear
Featuring silver-toned Sambas and knitted SL72 sneakers.
Off the back of Wales Bonner and adidas‘ previous footwear successes, the design duo are back with another iteration of collaborative footwear, this time for the Fall/Winter 2023 season.
Continuing Wales Bonner’s fascination with the cult-loved Samba silhouette, the new releases see the designer reimagine the sneaker in a reflective gunmetal hue, complete with white lace patterns featuring across its lateral stripes. The silver-toned shoe also features exposed stitching across its heel tab and tongue flap, complete with Wales Bonner text written across its lateral heel counter.
Next, the collection sees the designer putting her retro spin on the SL72 silhouette, arriving in a knitted upper design for the first time ever. Crafted with suede overlay panels alongside stitching accents and matching branding, the vintage-inspired runner arrives in two funky colorways: “Vermillion/Chocolate” and “Green/Orange,” complete with stacked sole units and wavy, serrated bottoms.
