Everything You Need to Know About Beyoncé's Custom LOEWE Tour Outfits
Where machine robots meet crystals and latex.
Global superstar and all-around icon, Beyoncé just performed the third London show of her Renaissance Tour, which took place at Tottenham Hotspur stadium.
As always, Queen Bey packed the 2-hour long show with her best hits, surprise guests (we’re looking at you, Blue Ivy) and possibly most importantly: incomprehensible outfit changes. While the artist’s tour wardrobe has been nothing short of impressive so far, one designer’s custom looks stood out. Bey enlisted the creative vision of LOEWE‘s Jonathan Anderson, who designed a series of striking stage looks drawing on the designer’s Fall/Winter 2022 collection.
Created by artisans at LOEWE’s France and Spain ateliers, the bespoke pieces were developed in collaboration with costume designer Shiona Turini — blending a futuristic vision with the concepts of theatre and the disco era. Combining robots and machinery with high-shine crystals and latex, the looks comprised two distinct pieces, inspired by the “escapist joy” that surrounds Beyoncé’s seventh studio album.
The first outfit, an embellished bodysuit, was crafted with a technical satin jersey, complete with appliquéd Swarovski crystals and matching crystal-embellished, lurex cargo trousers. Completing the look was a silver chrome 3D-printed bra. For her second look, the artist wore an embellished jumpsuit which featured LOEWE’s signature Trompe l’oeil hands motif, reimagined with gold crystals and paired with black rubber latex gloves.
