
Kristen Stewart and Fiancée Redefine “Happy Wife, Happy Life”
Turns out, the cheat code is a stoner chick flick.
Actor Kristen Stewart and partner Dylan Meyer announce their collaboration on upcoming film.
It’s unclear whether Stewart and Meyer knew they’d collaborate on a film together after meeting onset in 2013. But just four years after beginning their relationship, the celebrity couple is tapping into a new realm that might’ve unintentionally enhanced their relationship.
In a discussion with The Idol‘s Rachel Sennott, Stewart and Sennott discussed her upcoming film Bottoms and the beauty of working with your loved ones. On the topic, Stewart chimed in in agreeable and teased the upcoming collaboration with her fianceé. “Me and Dylan are writing a movie,” she said. “It’s a stoner girl comedy, and it’s really fucking stupid. I think you’ll like it.”
Stewart then revealed that working with her community has changed the tone of her career and made it more enjoyable. “The reason I even thought of this is because our producer is our best friend. We’re starting a company. I’ve worked with so many people that I didn’t know and that I didn’t like for so long. It was definitely valuable, but also, fuck that.”
After months of hiding their relationship, Stewart and partner, Meyer, revealed they were writing a series in 2022 that Stewart would act in. She revealed at the time, she was worried that collaborating would disrupt their relationship. But the recent announcement of their “stoner girl comedy,” gives “happy wife, happy life,” new meaning — one that happily taps collaboration.
