Nicki Minaj Extends Her US iTunes Record as Rapper With the Most No. 1 Songs

Nicki Minaj is the most successful rapper on US iTunes.
According to Chart Data, Minaj has extended “her record as the rapper with the most #1 songs in US iTunes history.” She currently has 37 No. 1 songs.
Minaj has had a pretty successful 2023. In recent months, she’s dropped a few singles, including “Pound Town 2” with Sexxy Red and Tay Keith, “Princess Diana” remix with Ice Spice, “Alone” with Kim Petras and her very own solo track “Red Ruby Da Sleeze,” which samples Lumidee’s “Never Leave You (Uh Oooh, Uh Oooh).”
In February, Billboard ranked her as the best female rapper of all time. According to the outlet, she “undeniably blazed the trail for the next generation of female MCs, while at the same time, building a legacy whose impact is hardly limited to the hip-hop world: Nicki is one of only a dozen artists to have more than 100 Billboard Hot 100 entries, and earned the MTV Video Vanguard Award in 2022 for her provocative music videos.”
