New Data Unveils Gen Z's Sexual Awakening

Latine dating app Chispa conducted a study, highlighting the sex lives and behaviors of college students.
Sex culture is still considered taboo in traditional families, causing many to hide or morph their desires to appease their cultures. However, according to Chispe, Latine students are transcending their cultural norms for a more authentic sex life.
In its study, the matching platform found that 74% of college students did not have to suppress their desires and had already emerged into their authentic sexual identities. Pleasure with sex toys, sexting and an affinity for nudes are the norm for college students — no surprise there. They are, however, eager to explore kink, role play and threesomes for added spice. On the topic of exploration, they’re proud “AI-virgins,” a term Chispa has coined, meaning they’re not interested in the AI sex and dating hype.
When asked about mental health and relationships, “64% of Latine college students agree that mental health impacts the joy of being in a relationship and 48% say their mental health affects their ability to enjoy sex.”
