Baby Phat Is Bringing Back the Puffer Jacket That Started It All
Calling all Y2K baes.
Bracing us for the colder months, Baby Phat is bringing back its iconic puffer jacket. A staple of many early aughts wardrobes, the re-release of the puffer celebrates the brand’s 25th anniversary and takes us down memory lane.
This time around, the puffer will be available in new colors like red, “Onyx,” “Olive Green” and “Sand” and will also range from XS-3X. Keeping its signature elements intact, the jacket also features the classic faux fur trimmed hood, gold embroidered Baby Phat logo and gold hardware.
To re-launch the puffer, Kimora Lee Simmons and her daughter Ming Lee Simmons fabulously model the jacket, creating anticipation across social media. With its roots in hip-hop, fashion and Gen-Z rediscovering the jacket through vintage and thrift shops, the jacket is once again cementing itself into culture.
