Kiko Kostadinov Revives Archival Levi's in First Collaboration
First teased at Paris Fashion Week.
Levi’s and London-based designer Kiko Kostadinov just announced their first-ever collaboration, featuring menswear and womenswear silhouettes. Subtly previewed at Paris Fashion Week earlier in the year, the full collection is set to launch worldwide later this month.
Laura and Deanna Fanning lead the womenswear offering, featuring a three-piece denim suit, askew Jersey Henleys, Paneled Jeans and a matching Paneled Denim Jacket. Characterized by signature Kiko details, the collection favors fuzzy textures, odd stripes, irregular prints, relaxed fits, waist cinching and large sleeves.
The menswear pieces take inspiration from archival Levi’s jeans, boasting new knee and elbow darting and diamond inserts — inspired by traditional Bulgarian motifs that nod to Kostadinov’s heritage. The collection’s denim jacket and matching trousers feature similar design cues, resulting in diamond panels with eyelets. Elsewhere, the collection features jersey cardigans, western shirts and sportswear-inspired styles.
