For Spring/Summer 2025, Salomon is leaping into the great outdoors with its new “Slate” collection. Inspired by nature’s rugged elegance, textures and hues, the collection channels the essence of exploration, with a sharp eye on functionality.
The campaign’s slogan, “Engineered to Explore,” further underscores that the collection was born for adventure. The campaign imagery was shot in the sweeping hills of Snowdonia, Wales, where jagged peaks and dramatic landscapes set the perfect backdrop for the brand’s vision.
Now, let’s talk about the gear itself. True to its slate-inspired name, the collection features textures and tones that feel straight from the wild. But don’t expect a drab, monotone line-up. Instead, Salomon has crafted a harmonious blend of earthy tones — think steely greys and mossy greens, punctuated by bright pops of orange, red and cobalt blue. Gore-Tex is front and center here, offering weatherproof performance in everything from the ventilated “Slate” pants to the unexpectedly versatile hiking skirt.
