Loewe Just Revamped Its Classic Ballet Runner
Don’t worry, it’s still a stylish hybrid: part running shoe, part ballet flat.
Loewe continues to impress not only with its fashion collections but also with its footwear innovation. After its successful reinvention of the Cloudtilt in collaboration with On Running, the brand is now turning its attention to its Ballet Runner silhouette. Originally introduced in 2019 as a hybrid of a ballet flat and running shoe, it makes a return this season, reimagined to perfectly align with the ’70s-inspired theme of Loewe’s Spring/Summer 2025 show.
This new Ballet Runner 2.0 is updated to give a more structured design while maintaining its effortless blend of sport and style. The shoe comes in two versions: nylon with calfskin and an all-soft calfskin, in black/white, lilac/white/grey, and white/red/blue, with more colorways coming soon.
This updated iteration features a sleeker and a more lightweight feel. “Loewe” is now embellished on the back, while the revamped “L” monogram appears on the quarter, complemented by an embossed anagram on the tongue. There is also an upgraded rubber outsole that extends to the toe cap, delivering a perfect blend of design, grip and all-day comfort.
If you’re not typically a fan of running trainers but love comfortable footwear, these are undoubtedly the perfect sneakers for you and go with everything and anything. From puffball skirts and denim bottoms to sporty ’70s shorts, the Ballet Runner 2.0 is your fashion trainer with an everyday appeal.
