Doechii's Viral Face Tape Just Got The Fashion Week Sign of Approval
The beauty trend was spotted on the Valentino runway in Paris.
The exposed face tape Doechii is making viral is hitting the runway, gracing models at the Valentino Fall/Winter 2025 show. For the debut of Alessandro Michele’s theater-inspired “Le Méta-Théâtre Des Intimités” collection during Paris Fashion Week, Valentino Beauty Global Makeup Artist Yadim paired the fun accessory with colorful makeup.
In an Instagram post, the brand reflected on the makeup: “The dualism between inside and outside, between what is intimate and what is exposed.” For Yadim, beauty should showcase emotion and be just as vibrant as it is on the stage. “The interplay of bold pigment and delicate glow was designed to mirror the Maison’s exploration of light and shadow,” Yadim shared in a press statement.
Inspired by theater, runway goers wore two different looks. The first look paired flushed pink cheeks that stretched their way to the eyes and a glossy red lip, reflecting a beautiful shine. For the second look, Yadim went for something softer, using just a bit of highlighter and concealer from the brand’s makeup range, as well as a bit of blush. Both versions of glam were dressed with face tape to sculpt and lift, making the beauty just a bit more dramatic.
