KATSEYE Debuts New Blonde Hair Looks Just in Time for Coachella

With Coachella just around the corner, global girl group KATSEYE called upon Matrix to dream up festival-ready blonde hair looks. Executed by George Papanikolas, the hair transformations span from all-over platinum blonde to bold highlights and ombre details — all of which serve as a symbol of the group’s brand new era ahead of their Coachella debut.
Although the group recently reverted back to their dark hair in celebration of their Beautiful Chaos EP, the release of “PINKY UP” first highlighted the members’ varying blonde hair looks. Having all previously experimented with a plethora of hair colors, KATSEYE’s blonde transformations are further proof that a new visual era is officially here.

As global brand ambassadors, KATSEYE relied on Matrix products to lighten their locks. When it comes to their individual looks, Yoonchae traded in her dark hair for platinum blonde and a layered cut while Sophia landed on a two-tone black and blonde balayage look for a contrasting effect. On the other hand, Megan harped on the editorial hair trend with a hand-painted shine line, Daniela opted for subtle face-framing highlights for added dimension and Lara achieved chunky Y2K-coded highlights.
