KEEN and 114.index Celebrate the Art of the Trail Runner With a New Campaign
There’s just something about that post-run glow.
KEEN is proving that true style is found in the most unlikely, and sometimes dirty places with its latest campaign for its SEEK and ROAM trail runners. To celebrate the new season, KEEN teamed up with curatorial platform 114.index to flip the script on traditional, polished campaign photography. Instead of showcasing brand new and untested footwear, the campaign purposefully dirtied shoes to recreate the authentic post-run glow of trail runners.
After launching the SEEK silhouette in late 2025 as its first entry into the world of trail running, this year’s ROAM release refined those initial ideas, making KEEN a one-stop shop for comfort and performance for every season and occasion. The campaign brings the shoes to life, capturing them in their habitat and at their best, mud, grass and all.
The shoes are styled with trail essentials like compression socks, head torches and tactical layers, leaning into the functional aesthetic. The vibrant imagery is a fun take on the average campaign, going full gorpcore without a trial in sight. This is up there with some of our favorite campaigns this year so far.
