Mixing gorpcore with princess-inspired fantasy for the whimsical girls.
It’s spring, it’s beautiful and Sandy Liang is outside. For Spring/Summer 2027, the downtown favorite unlocked a fresh corner of the Sandy girl’s closet, delivering an ode to modularity, the thrill of dressing up to run around and the pure joy of catering to your everyday whims. The collection was made up of technical utility filtered through fairytale fantasy, crafted specifically for your inner child and her grown up outer expression.
Nostalgia and futurism collided on gorpcore-inspired bags stamped with a cheekily futuristic “Sandy Liang X3000” logo and purses boasting endless pockets. Everyday staples took on a sharper, more intentional consideration through crisp tailored workwear, trompe l’oeil skirts, perfectly plunged V-neck sweaters and white patent-leather wedges. Sporty functionality was softened by sweet princess details throughout. Track pants featured playful ruffles layered across the back, track jackets were accented with kissing dolphins and sheer lace glimmered with clear paillettes with every step.
The accessories were equally intentional and whimsical. Vibrant ballet flats borrowed comfort from house slippers, bunny shoes glistened with gemstone eyes and leg warmers trailed behind models with streaming ribbons. Crowned by statement sashes and hair clips blooming like an overflowing bouquet, Liang proved that practical dressing is at its absolute best when made delightfully precious.
