Take a First Look at John Elliott's Debut Womenswear Collection

Featuring experimental silhouettes.

Los Angeles-based designer John Elliott officially announces that he will present his first women’s collection at New York Fashion Week. In the menswear market, Elliott is highly regarded for his take on streetwear in addition to providing on-trend, functional basics.

The preview imagery that the designer has shared features strong, versatile pieces which can easily mesh with a woman’s wardrobe. The outerwear pieces — including a black vinyl coat, a wool plaid coat and an oversized grey bomber — are all distinct and well-made. Experimental silhouettes are also seen in the form of a plaid hoodie paired with matching trousers. Overall, the aesthetic of the garments addresses the ever-present athleisure trend.
