Retro Streetwear Goes High-End With AMBUSH's Millennial Pink Track Jacket
A reimagined ’80s classic.
Japan-based label AMBUSH unveiled its Spring/Summer 2018 collection, HUES earlier this year, which was the perfect fusion of ’80s normcore with a stylish, contemporary twist.
One of our favorite pieces from the collection – the millennial pink track jacket – has finally become available to purchase and we couldn’t be more excited. The retro jacket has a slouchy, oversized fit with a nostalgic athleisure feel. The pullover style adds to the overall casual aesthetic with the black funnel neck and zipper giving a practical touch. There are contrasting black and white panels upon the sleeves and cuffed details to round out the look. Completing the functional jacket is a large flap pocket upon the front, which has a hidden zipper closure and AMBUSH’s blocky text logo placed in small font on the chest.
Although we’re only a few months into the year, it’s already set to be a big one for the brand – it’s already announced collaborations with Amazon and Beats by Dre and also had its runway debut at Tokyo Fashion Week this season.
You can shop this on-trend jacket now at retailers like Browns for $621 USD. Don’t forget to check out the behind-the-scenes imagery from AMBUSH’s first runway show and read more about the brand in this interview with Yoon.
