Our Legacy's Debut Womenswear Collection Is Minimalism Done Right
Unveiled during Paris Fashion Week Men’s.
We recently shared the news that Swedish menswear brand Our Legacy had announced it would be foraying into womenswear for the Spring/Summer 2019 season. As Paris Fashion Week Men’s drew to a close, the brand finally unveiled its long-awaited debut for women, and it was just as covetable as you would expect.
True to the brands roots and recognizable aesthetic the collection, which was titled “Synthesis,” was the perfect blend of pared-back minimalism and sharp tailoring. Slouchy, oversized silhouettes were the key look, with standout pieces including a longline tailored jacket, straight-leg pants and denim, knitted dresses, and a sheer, short-sleeve shirt. Outerwear is something that Our Legacy continues to excel at and some favorites for the upcoming season included the floaty, gauze-like bomber in black which subtly showed an orange under-layer and a lightweight, off-white jacket with elongated sleeves.
