K-Pop Group BTS Links up With Nicki Minaj for New Track, "IDOL"

Having shared a sneak peek via a teaser video earlier this week, K-pop super group BTS has finally unveiled ths visual of its EDM-meets-trap rap song, “IDOL.” As part of the boy band’s repackaged album, LOVE YOURSELF: Answer, the catchy tune features verses by none other than Nicki Minaj, who recently won the “Best Hip Hop” award at the 2018 MTV VMAs with her hit single “Chun-Li.”
Following the release of the album, BTS successfully kicked off its LOVE YOURSELF world tour this weekend with two concerts in Seoul, South Korea. In September, the seven-piece group is slated to travel to 16 major cities in North America, Europe as well as Japan for a total of 33 shows, with tickets already sold out completely.
