This Is How Troye Sivan Got Ready for His First Golden Globes

Having already taken a look at the best red carpet looks from the 2019 Golden Globe Awards, as well as the event’s must-see beauty looks, Vogue now goes behind-the-scenes to discover how Troye Sivan got ready for his first Golden Globes. From deciding whether he should go with a sleek turtleneck or a classic dress shirt (to pair with his head-turning Calvin Klein blue suit, of course), to getting his nails painted for the big night, the reel is filled with moments showcasing the multi-hyphenate’s charismatic personality.
Joining him along for the ride is his sister Sage, who flew in from their hometown of Perth. Within the footage, we also get a glimpse of Troye’s boyfriend Jacob Bixenman, as well as a hilarious moment when the star receives a bouquet of flowers from an anonymous sender to which he replies, “Hopefully, they’re from Timothée Chalamet.”
Troye Sivan was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for his original song, “Revelation,” written for the film Boy Erased, which starred actor Lucas Hedges who was nominated for “Best Actor” at the awards. You can watch the full BTS video above.
