Peggy Gou's Label Kirin Reveals Its Spring/Summer 2020 Collection

“Fun, energetic, a sense of freedom.”

Earlier this year DJ and style icon Peggy Gou launched her label Kirin with New Guards Group, and now she’s revealed its upcoming Spring/Summer 2020 collection. “Fun, energetic, a sense of freedom” is how the range is described, inspired by Gou’s raves and festivals as well as her unique style, and when merged with Kirin, it creates the word “Krave.”

For the SS20 collection, coordinated and graphic looks take front and center, arriving in silhouettes like suits, jackets and sporty swimsuits. In addition, Peggy’s Korean background also shows through in the collection, which features traditional motifs, patterns and typography. Crafted from a wide range of mixed materials including printed eco fur, denim, stretch jersey and more, pieces are all about having fun and expressing oneself. Of course, we’re also seeing giraffe motifs all woven into the collection, as an homage to the label’s name as well as Gou’s favorite animal.

Peep the full Kirin Spring/Summer 2020 lookbook in the gallery above, and don’t miss our exclusive interview with Peggy Gou here.
