BEAMS Teams up With New Balance for a Mismatched Take on the 990v5

Japanese brand BEAMS is teaming up with sneaker giant New Balance to create a special take on the 990v5 silhouette. Drawing from NB’s signature grey color palette, the trainers sport suede overlays and a silver midfoot, with panelled textures like mesh and reflective materials across. BEAMS’ whimsical take on the shoe sees mismatched shoes, with the right shoe boasting a dark toe box and light heel, and the left an airy shade across the toe box and dark heel. The collaboration is finished off with New Balance’s signature 990v5 ENCAP midsole.
