Gucci Bloom Introduces New Scent, Ambrosia di Fiori
The floral fragrance features iris and rose notes.
Gucci has released a new chapter of its Gucci Bloom fragrances, Ambrosia di Fiori. The new scent, one of five perfumes in the Gucci Bloom series, is inspired by ambrosia’s significance in Greek mythology.
Ambrosia di Fiori builds upon the jasmine, tuberose and rangoon creeper base notes featured in the original Gucci Boom Eau de Parfum with two new ingredients, orris and damascena rose. Orris, also known as iris root, was used in ancient Greece and Rome as an essential oil. The scent is derived from the valuable resin of the velvety orris flower, which blooms in Tuscany in May. Damascena rose — otherwise known as damask rose — also boasts a rich history with origins in the Middle East.
Gucci Bloom Ambrosia di Fiori retails from $107 USD and is available on Gucci’s website. Be sure to check out our guide to picking the right fragrance for your skin type.
