Opening Ceremony's FW19 Collection Lookbook Highlights an All-Asian Cast
Featuring new collaborations with Vans, Timberland and more.
For its Fall/Winter 2019 lookbook, Opening Ceremony enlists an all-Asian cast featuring diverse creatives. The handpicked individuals are seen in a plethora of colorful fabrics and prints shot by Sebastian Kim. Seen in the imagery are designer Anna Sui, author Jenny Han, chef Angela Dimayuga and writer Priya Krishna to name a few.
The range is marked by collaborations with Lacoste, Dickies, Vans and Timberland. These collabs are inspired by the personal style and friendship between two visionaries Anita Mui and Leslie Cheung. These two iconic figures of ’80s and ’90s Hong Kong cinema were known for challenging class and gender norms in film.
