At Stockholm Fashion Week FW19, Street Style Mavens Are All Wearing This Popular Accessory

Take your style notes.

It might be literally freezing in the Swedish Capital, but attendees of Stockholm Fashion Week still served up fire looks. With the Fall/Winter 2019 event coming to a close, we’re looking back on some of the best street style looks spotted outside show venues this season.

Besides the predictable accessory — that being scarves, of course, and mostly from Acne Studios — fashion enthusiasts seemed to be loving the hair clip trend that began to spread on Instagram last year. Whether covered in pearls or logo-bearing, the ’90s-inspired hair accessory offers an easy way to add some interest to a wintry look. Statement sunglasses, earrings, hats and handbags designed with unexpected shapes were also commonly seen.

Brand-wise, we’re noticing many items from Philo-era Céline, including the Classic Box bag and the brand’s olive green rain boots released in 2018. Danish label Saks Potts, Fendi and Calvin Klein continued to be some of the favorite logos among the crowd, while we also saw many branding-free outerwear pieces coming in the form of vintage and faux fur coats, cozy teddy jackets and oversized puffers.

Scroll through the gallery above to see how fashion’s finest layered and accessorized during the three-day occasion. For more cold weather style inspo, check out our recap of our favorite street style looks as seen at Copenhagen Fashion Week FW19.
