Balenciaga's Triple-S Designer Debuts Shoes 53045's Bump’Air in "Green Giant"

The chunky sneaker trend is still going strong.

David Tourniaire-Beauciel, the genius behind Balenciaga‘s Triple-S kicks, recently launched his very own brand last February called Shoes 53045. The label includes its very own line of exaggerated sneakers dubbed Bump’Air that is currently available in six colors and distinctive designs.

After debuting his silhouettes to the sneakerhead community, the Bump’Air is about to get its boldest colorway yet titled “Green Giant.” With richly saturated grassy tints from the sole to its laces, Beauciel draws inspiration from a broad range of green sources for the shoe’s flourishing hue. In addition, the leather-free piece will be used to introduce the label’s new green policy: for every pair of shoes sold in any color, Shoes 53045 will make a donation to have a tree planted.

Ahead of its launch, the new silhouette has already made its way into the closets of celebrities like M.I.A., Teyana Taylor, Kehlani and Alessia Cara.

The Bump’Air Green Giant retails for $470 USD at shoes53045.com which will be available at 4 p.m. JST in Tokyo, 9 a.m. CET in Paris, and 12 a.m. PST in Los Angeles.
